I genially liked working on this Rain dance commercial for Safia Water. The cast of dancers were truly outstanding and it’s always a pleasure working with director Justin Dickel.
This commercial was shot right after New Year and it’s been snowing in London, so my plane detoured and landed in Paris. With 20% battery and two large cases, I ran to Euro star and managed to get the last four tickets to get to London for my afternoon rehearsal. Never try pulling two cases in the snow, NEVER! There’s no cabs around, so a 10 minute walk took me 30 minutes, with a lot of deal making with god and a wet bum from my constant drops on the floor. I can honestly say, anyone who looked at me was going to either hear my boom or see me breakdown. Well, after everyone’s drama trying to get to the studio for the rehearsals, we were all kept in a hotel for the next two shooting days. I, of course, had bikinis for all the boys after just coming back from sunny Barbados. All I can say is, as I’m a granny, I prepped before I even travel so my rehearsal went snowy fine, and now I have proof, you should over pack as I could of started in the hotel for another month.
